1. What is Zallas Business Network? Zallas Business Network is a place where webmasters can find other webmasters to exchange or trade links. A webmaster is a person who can edit the content of an Internet web site. In our directory there are only sites listed that want to exchange or trade links. 2. Do I have to be a webmaster to use Zallas Business Network? You must be able to add new links to your site so that link exchange can take place. If you represent a company that has a web site but you are not the webmaster, contact him or her and explain to them about Zallas Business Network, so that your company can get started with trading links.
3. Why is it good to trade links? The main reason is to drive traffic to your site. When used correctly link trading can increase your number of visitors by the thousands. There are three main effects of having a lot of links out on the Internet pointing to your site.
People will see the link to your site and click on it while browsing through your link partner’s web sites.
2. Search engines will rank your site higher if you have high link popularity. Which means your site will show up on top and not on the bottom of the search results.
3. Many search engines use what is called "Spiders" to crawl the internet and index new and updated old web site. If your site does not exist in the google.com; for example that means that google.com they have not indexed your site yet. The "Spiders" will more easily and more often crawl your web site if a link to it is placed all over the Internet. Your site will be listed quicker and it will be revisited more often.
4. Do I have to put up a link to Zallas Business Network on my site? We will place your link on our members’ sites and it is only the fair thing to do. Plus it will help both of us if more webmasters join Zallas Business Network.
In case you do not add our link for 60 days you will not have links to your web site from other members’ sites.
5. Do I have to link back to everybody that links to me? You will automatically be linked with only relevant member web sites. This concerns both incoming and outgoing links.
6. I have created my account what do I have to do now? We always try to process new applications within 48 hours. If it takes longer than that; and you do not hear from us, it can be one of several reasons. Your web site does not qualify for the Zallas.Net directory due to:
1. Inappropriate material published (adult, illegal, and unmoral sites are some of them. We choose completely at our own discretion who may, and may not, be accepted as a Zallas Business Network Member).
2. The web site does not have Link Page. Link page is the page that is accessible from your site by browsing through it, and it has mostly nothing but links on it.
3. The website is in the direct competition with the type of service that we provide.
4. It may be because of high volume of new users, in which case we will notify you as soon as possible.
7. I got an account with Zallas Business Network what now? You now should insert the code that was given to you into one of your web site pages. For more information how to exchange links, Click Here!
8. How do I edit my account information? Login to access your account.
9. How do I add my URL? Click on Add URL button every time you wish to enter a new URL.
10. Can I register more than one URL at Zallas Business Network? Yes you can. For each additional URL you must open a new Zallas Business Network account. You may use the same e-mail but each password has to be different.
11. How do I cancel my Zallas Business Network Account? If you would like to be removed from Zallas Business Network directory please follow the directions below:
Login to your Zallas Business Network Account
Once you are logged in click on ”Contact Us” link on the bottom of the web page
This is most effective way for us to verify that you are the owner of the account. At the same time this process will get you Zallas Business Network account closed in the shortest amount of the time. As soon we receiver your email we will remove your link from the Zallas Business Network and you will not receiver any other emails from us.
12. What is the “URL to the Link Partners's link”? It is the URL to your link page where you have added the link partner's link.
13. How do I change the URL of my Zallas Business Network account? We do not allow change of the URL once the Zallas Business Network account has been established for more then 7 days or if account has more then 5 Link Request Pending. The reason is if we change your URL it will interfere with the link verification process.
What you need to do is open a new account with this new URL. If you need us we can close the old account for you.
If you have upgraded your old account to Full Membership we can transfer it to your new account only if the old URL was or is pointing to the same website as the new one and the old account will be removed form Zallas Business Network.
14. What is a Master Account? The Master Account is an interface that will allow you to link all of your Zallas Business Network accounts together. With one login you will be able to navigate from one Zallas Business Network account to the other. Master Account will make your link exchange experience more enjoyable and effective.
15. What are web page Frames? It is a term used to describe a viewing and layout style of a World Wide Web site; it refers to the simultaneous loading of 2 or more Web pages at the same time within the same screen.
Most search engines do not index framed web pages properly - they only index the text present in the NOFRAMES tag. Unless a web page which uses frames contains relevant content in the NOFRAMES tag, it is unlikely to get a high search engine ranking.
Because of the same reason Zallas Business Network does not index the links that are located on the source pages with in the Framed web page. In order for you to verify a link you need to know the URL to the source page where the you have placed the link.
16. What types of URL formats does Zallas Business Network support? Zallas Business Network supports the following URL formats:
Domain Name format (http://somesite.com/)
Sub-Domain format (http://subdomain.somesite.com/)
Directory format (http://somesite.com/shopping/)
Zallas Business Network does not support URL that ends in a file name (http://somesite.com/somefile.html).
